Futbol

futbol friendly today! line 1 vs line 6.. our first real game.. drew 2-2. considering that we drew against a team that plays together every week.. , i felt it was a good performance by the team. drawing experience from the old birds n the blazing energy of the young guns of BML1S1, we set upon the enemies in a frightening surge of deep runs down the flanks and slick passing thru the center! CEO Challenge cup, here we come!

pitch was bedok view sec. keras. rumpot sikit. mampos main kat dirt. but janji ada padang, ada referree, ada bola, ada 22 orang. ok go~!!

wooo hoooo!!

too bad i didn't get on the scoresheet.. kejar bola pon tak dpt, tapi semangat ttp musti mau ada hor.. fuuhhyooh.. penat lorh.. but today earned the nickname kuda.. muahaha.. plepisang.. biaser.. lari tak henti2.. k girls.. take note pls.. i can go on and on and on.. yes.. apparently, thru the weekly sunday futbol n the bi-weekly wednesday training sessions, i have reaped some benefits.. the stamina of my NS years is slowly creeping back.. and oh yes.. i got like 10 offsides decisions against me by the ref.. ape nak buat.. wa suka curik ayam..

day 1


took the ferry from tanah merah at 2pm.. nothing much to say cos no one got sea sick.. sume jiwa sailor.. sailing with the crewmen of black pearl! under the command of capt jack! jack sparrow, bukan jack n the beanstalk.. bukan ko-jack ok..



checked into villa straight after that. settled some housekeeping admin issues.. biaser jgak.. kena check inventory.. then a walk along the boootyfullicious beach.. yea.. plenty to booties there.. mat sallehses, chineses, indianses.. woooo mata plus minus macam mesen jackpot!



first night, we had our bbq.. thing is, everyone was so fucking hungry.. we forgot to take pictures of the bbq itself.. biler dah kenyang sikit baru teringat.. we had satay, beef steak, chicken wing, sausages and of course.. finished it off with RED WINE.. hahah.. sirap ros daaa..

then off they went to take a swim at the pool.. while i went to rent some DVDs for the night. but SIALAN.. villa's DVD player doesn't accept pirated DVDs so we contented ourselves with UNO. once UNO got boring.. hahaha.. we started on Heart Attack!

yan tangan paling lebam.. pasal paling lembab.. and one time.. fauziah looked like she wanted to cry after getting hit by me. ohh by the way.. takde kasi chance punya itu Heart Attack.. patot panggil Heartless Attack.. baru sui.. we should have taken a video of it.. the rage of the pounding fist slamming down onto the stacked hands and palms. and those who were weary eyes stood no chance agaisnt the speed of the hammerhand of ALI.. MwaHAhahaha..

so thats it for day.. knackered at 1am.. all of us went to bed.. i bunked wip Man.. and we slept 'togedder gedder' under the blanker.. ooohhh behaavee~

day 2



started the day wip maggi mee in the morning.. we had a lil visitor that day.. mr iguanadon..
but mr iguanadon was juz a lil pep for wat was to come for the day.. for me, it was the most enjoying day of the trip..

and hell.. mr iguanadon here eats hot dogs.. shud have thrown my dirty underwear and watched the fucker vomit in the pond..

snorkelling
yeaa!! at last.. the open sea.. whole bunch of us.. first off.. collecting our gear! trying out the snorkels n fins.. once done.. off we went to the boat.. 45mins ride to and 45mins back.. snorkelled for abt an hr..



once there.. fuuhhhyoohh.. amazing siak.. fishes eating right out of ur hand.. the depth was abt 4 metres.. once i got bored of snorkelling.. up the boat i went.. and off came the life vest.. time for some diving with our guides.. and juz at 4 metres, i was already feeling the pressure on my eardrums.. so didn't stay down long..




note: we paid $35 each for the snorkelling.. poziah, paid $35 juz to hold on to the boat.. Hahahah.. takot air rupanyer..5 orang try pujuk dier 'main' dlm2 sikit.. tapi dier nak kat hujung2 aje.. takpe poziah eh.. pelan2 kayuh.. mane tahu esok2 kau jadi deep sea diver kan..

ok so then thats it for the snorkelling part..

went back to the villa for lunch.. called room service.. $14 each for these..
-buttered rice
-salad with thousand island
-potato wedges
-chicken curry
-daging cincang masak ntahapaapantah tapi sedap..
-sayor ape ntah..
-peanut sos.. tapi satay nye takde..

a lil expensive, but enjoyed it nonetheless.. haha.. cos its the first proper meal we had since
arriving..



but lunch took quite awhile to arrive.. so in the meantime.. me n man decided to improvise since the charcoal was gone.. appetizers ar ni kirer..

kayaking
aft lunch, lazed ard a while.. and i fell asleep.. before i was abruptly awoken by yan.. ajak gi kayaking.. so off we went.. me n yan.. kayaking by the beach.. romantic gitu kan.. kan.. nasib ko dah ade matair yan.. asked the rest along... lazy lah, tired lah.. too bad no pics.. biase, takot camera jatuh dlm laot..

kayaked for abt 45mins.. then headed back to shore.. kiwwakkk.. peh penat.. lenguh siol lengan aku..

then off we went for what i feel was the BEST activity of the trip!..

Bintan 'Drift' Go-Kart



$55 for an hr of go karting.. we opted for 20mins x 3 round to make up 1 hr.

1st rd - slow n steady. getting the feel of the kart's handling. checking out the kart's power. checking out the braking system. aiyah.. actually.. we were kinda afraid of overturning/toppling over the kart if we went too fast. first timers maaah..



2nd rd - after a few demo laps by the mechanics, we found out that the karts CANNOT overturn no matter how fast u enter the corner. so we went faster, pushed the limits and started to drift in and out of corners.. hahaha.. tanduk dah kluar ni satu2..



3rd rd - every corner in, drift. every corner out, drift. the 3rd round was a case of pushing the pedal to the metal. overtaking each other in corners, cutting dangerously close to each other. coming up beside each other while overtaking, smiling and that person and then showing them 'the finger' as u speed away.. hahah.. throughout the 20 mins, all u hear is the over-revving of the go kart's engine and screeching of tyres.. superbly fun..



yan.. fuuhyoohh.. driver maot.. susah nak gigit.. the onli way i managed to overtake her.. main basterd.. cut infront, jamm the brakes n speed away.. hahahaah..

anyway high risk activities like dis.. impossible to achieve without injuries.. yan burned elbow on the go kart's engine. jun kaki terpleot.. yg lain.. minor bumps n muscle aches.. but still went back very satisfied pple..

pasar ole-ole
this place is kinda like kampung melayu in Geylang Serai. selling t-shirts, handicrafts, painting.. mostly tourist mementos.. but the things there are cheap. if ya ever plan to go bintan, this should be ur first stop aft checking in.

the resort's minimart's is fucken' ex.. 50cents for a packet of noodles, 60cents for a sachet of nescafe, $6 for a bott of 2L coke.. u get the idea..

at pasar ole-ole, the stuffs are cheaper than sheng siong...



then at night, again we went swimming.. till 12am.. playing 'monkey' n 'waterbasketball' .. fauziah basterd~ tutop muker aku dgn boLa.. ohh yea.. i did sumthing very sneaky.. hahahah.. when i got the ball.. i held onto it for so long pozi bingit sampai dier pelok2 aku nak capai itu bola.. muahahahaa.. aku SENGAJA tanak lepaskan.. wooo hooo!!

ohhh yes.. i finished showering.. was in my room changing.. man was showering.. the other 2 guys downstairs wathing tv.. so there's a frantic knocking on my door.. and jun's voice shouting for me..

'ali! ali!'

so aku bukak larr pintu.. teros mata aku terbeliak.. member ngan tuala aje.. woooii jun.. tergugat gwek!

problem - cicak atas katil dorang..

so aku masok lerr bilek nak tangkap itu cicak.. hepi siol tangkap cicak.. mwahahaha.. so dah masok bilik, kalau tadi mata terbeliak, skg mata plus minus dah macam mesen jackpot lagi.. pasal fauziah pon dgn tuala.. AJE..

gerek betul kerje tangkap2 cicak ni..

yan lak was in the shower at the time.. klw dier kluar, aku raser, mata aku pon terkluar dari socket..

aisey.. betul nyer ujian siak.. hahahaha.. cobaan.. cobaan.. cobaan.. cobaan..

gitu2 at last itu cicak aku pon tak tangkap.. camne nak tangkap bilang aku. konsentrasi hilang teruuus...

day 3
ok.. so then i guess that was it.. the next day we just lazed ard a lil, TRIED to play beach volleyball. hahaha.. nak serve bola pon satu2 tak tahu.. ade hati siak.. muahahaha.. at last giveup balek villa to pack up~

then.. off we went~ guudbye bintan~.. and guudbye RINI.. hahah.. siaper tu rini.. secret.. wooo hooo!!!

and i feel that izyan deserve a special mention for making this trip such a success, planning most of the stuffs and dg most of the administration for us.. so yan, special thanks to you for organising and making this trip a sukses! sukses! so yan ape2 plan lu ade in the future.. aku sokong! and not forgetting every1 else who went.. jun, man, pozi, anthoni 'swampthing' and wisely..

since it was such an enjoyable n memorable experience, we're thinking of gg back there again sometime in December. so pple.. start saving..! about $400 if u truly wana njoy the activities there.. =)

Zombified Me

yes, u can blame the lack of updates bcos of World of Warcraft. Highly addictive stuffs and i admit, im addicted.

But not to worry.. steps have been taken to curb this initial addiction.. playing hours have been cut down from all night long to 1 am/2 am.. cannot tahan lah.. everyday at work like zombie..
