The Ubin Experience

today in history! went to ubin for cycling trip ngan famili gWek.. ali the sPOrtsMan.. woo hooo!! power to the kedegAak!

bumboat ride - $2
bicycle rental - $3
drinks - $1
watching your cousin fall into a hole - priceless

my take on P. Ubin
great place to relek relek..bicycle rental is cheap.. food is cheap.. although there's onli one muslim stall in the whole island.. abt the island itself.. its quite clean.. a few spots boley lepak2 rilek nyer.. if it rains, shelter might be a bit of problem at some points.. end to end might take about an hr plus to cycle thru.. anyway there's nothing to do there at all other than cycling/camping..

kedai beskal peh lah belambak..

bicycle rental range from $3 to an average bike, to about $8 for a newer and better bike.. i took the $3 bike.. worked out fine.. but i was on tarmac/metalled road most of the time.. for the more adventurous.. if u're thinking of cycling on the trails and slopes.. i'd suggest taking the higher end bike.. i had difficulties shifting gear using my bike..

anyway rental rates are PER DAY.. not PER HOUR like East Coast..

and when you still cant find any pirated shops.. there is onli 1 thing left to do.. buy an ORIGINAL copy. and that's what i did. in the rain, off i went to West Mall. and up to date, this is the single most expensive luxury item that i have purchased for myself.. all $75 of it.. for 2 discs, a map and a guide bk.. Collector's Edition somemore..
